Fatal Error

I updated my BuddyPress and got the following Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_get_displayed_user_username() in /home/tweety/public_html/wp-content/themes/buddypress-daily-theme-3.9.9/bp-daily/library/functions/bp-functions.php on line 18

I can didable buddyPress plugin but I need it, so what then? Thanks

    Check out this thread where someone was having a similar – if not the same – issue.

    I noticed that toward the end of the thread, one person mentioned that they did not click on the “Finish and Activate” button. It’s been a couple of weeks (or more) since my last BP install, so I can’t remember if that button still exists or not.

    Hope this is helpful. If not, post back and I’m sure someone can find you more help.

    It was already activated and members have filled out the first step to sign up but today it said I needed to up date BuddyPress so when I updated it gave the error. Would that be diffrent then the thread you sent? Thanks I deleated the theme but am thinking maybe I shouln’t have… only because I am now realizing the work I am going to need to do to get it back the way it was. It said it had the error with my Theme and when I deleated the theme it reactived the default theme. Hum…

    Glad you got this sorted – I’m assuming you did since this is marked as resolved.

    If you did not get it sorted, just repost here and tick the box “Mark as not resolved” and the ticket will reopen so a staff member (that’s not me) will see it. Of course, I have been accused of “Living” here in the forum occasionally plus I’ve subscribed to the thread, so I’ll more than likely see it. :wink:
