[DOMAIN MAPPING] I cannot map domain.

When I try to map a domain I see this message:

Domain name is unavailable to access

Domain A record was set up on 25 March. This is 3 days now and IP checker shows correct IP.

Can you help me with this case?

    Hello mynym,

    I checked your site and IP you used in the A record and this will not work. The reason is that you need to have dedicated, static IP that also opens the main site of the multisite.

    So when you type the IP in the browser it should open your website. And this is not happening, hence A record can’t be used to point the domain to the Multisite and then map it in the subsite.

    You need to add this domain as add-on domain (this is how it’s called in the cPanel) to where you are hosting your Multisite and when you do that you need to also make sure that the path is the same as WordPress installation.

    After that, when you have pointed correctly domain it should open the main site of the multisite and after that, you can map it to the subsite.
