Maybe you have a site that rarely uses Posts, and so instead of having the Post button at the top of your menu, you\u2019d rather have Pages at the top.<\/p>\n<p>Or maybe there are menu items that you basically never use, and so they just clutter things up and get in the way. Why not hide them?<\/p>\n<p>Or maybe you\u2019d like to create new menu items to suit your particular situation and link it wherever you like.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s a plugin that can fix all that quite easily \u2013 the <a href=\"http:\/\/wordpress.org\/plugins\/admin-menu-editor\/\" target=\"_blank\">Admin Menu Editor<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"image-grid cgrid-row\">\n<div class=\"cgrid-col cgrid-col-span-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-117801\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/rearranging.jpg\" alt=\"rearranging\" width=\"796\" height=\"398\" \/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2><b><br \/>\nHow It Works<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>With the Admin Menu Editor you can easily drag and drop your menu items into whichever order you like. But you can do more than that. You can hide menus, change access rights, create new menu items, and even add icons.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s take a look at it in action.<\/p>\n<p>Drag and drop the menus into the order you&#8217;d like.<\/p>\n<div class=\"image-grid cgrid-row\">\n<div class=\"cgrid-col cgrid-col-span-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-117802\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/admin-menu-editor-settings.jpg\" alt=\"admin-menu-editor-settings\" width=\"699\" height=\"443\" \/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Here\u2019s a quick example. You can see the original menu on the left, and my newly created menu on the right. You\u2019ll notice that I moved the Pages menu up.
