This allows you to show quiz questions one at a time, or all the questions at once. The pagination feature helps further determine how your quiz will be displayed and used.<\/p>\n<p>Plus, Forminator also has <strong>Bulk Editing<\/strong>, <strong>image support in Checkbox and Radio fields<\/strong>, and <strong>reCAPTCHA badge positioning<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_199773\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" data-caption=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-199773\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/pagination-greeting.gif\" alt=\"What's new in Forminator.\" width=\"600\" height=\"613\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">There\u2019s plenty new in Forminator!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>This article will show you pagination support and rundown other features so that you can implement them for your WordPress site today.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll look at:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"#creating\">Creating a New Paginated Quiz<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#editing\">Editing Pagination<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#previewing\">Previewing the Quiz<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#bulk\">Bulk Editing<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#additional\">Additional Advanced Features<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By the time you read through this, you&#8217;ll hopefully have some ideas to put these features immediately to work!<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"creating\" target=\"_blank\"><\/a>Creating a New Paginated Quiz<\/h2>\n<p>If you want to display several questions for your knowledge quizzes at a time, then you\u2019ll want to use <strong>Quiz Pagination. <\/strong>As you\u2019ll see, creating a quiz with pagination is as easy as ever with Forminator.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll start just like usual by making a new quiz. Just hit <strong>Create<\/strong>&#8230;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_199774\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" data-caption=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-199774\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/create-new-quiz.png\" alt=\"Where you start to create a quiz.\" width=\"600\" height=\"650\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Create button will get you started!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&#8230;then, give it a <strong>Quiz Name<\/strong>. For this example, we\u2019ll create a <strong>Knowledge Quiz<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_199775\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" data-caption=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-199775\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/create-a-quiz.png\" alt=\"Where you create a new knowledge quiz.\" width=\"592\" height=\"681\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Create a name that you can remember what it\u2019ll be used for.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>At this point, Forminator will ask you how you want to present your quiz. Since we\u2019re focused on pagination, we\u2019ll choose the <strong>Paginated Quiz<\/strong> option and hit <strong>Continue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_199776\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" data-caption=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-199776\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/quiz-presentation.gif\" alt=\"The paginated quiz option.\" width=\"600\" height=\"566\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">The choice is yours: No Pagination or Paginated Quiz.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Once you continue, you\u2019ll also have the option to collect leads. That\u2019s up to you and won\u2019t have any effect on your pagination options.<\/p>\n<p>After creating the quiz, you can set it up like a regular quiz (e.g. adding a title, featured images, etc.). Additionally, add your questions.<\/p>\n<p>If you need help getting a quiz set up in detail, check out our <a href=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/get-the-most-out-of-forminator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Getting the Most Out of Forminator<\/a> article to walk you through the process.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"editing\" target=\"_blank\"><\/a>Editing Pagination<\/h2>\n<p>I\u2019ve set up some questions and am now ready to edit the pagination (and again, if you need help setting up questions, please <a href=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/get-the-most-out-of-forminator\/#quiz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">refer to this article<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Editing pagination is done from the <strong>Behaviour <\/strong>tab.<\/p>\n<p>Once you\u2019re here, you have the option <strong>No Pagination<\/strong> or <strong>Paginated Quiz<\/strong>. This is so you can remove pagination if you decide not to use it in the future.<\/p>\n<p>For this article, we\u2019re going with <strong>Paginated Quiz<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_199777\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" data-caption=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-199777\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/behavior-paginated.png\" alt=\"The paginated quiz option.\" width=\"600\" height=\"190\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">This will determine how your questions will be presented.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Paginated Quiz then lets you determine the number of questions per page, the Start Quiz Button text, and the text for previous &amp; next buttons. You can also check the box if you want to show a page indicator.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s as simple as filling in the details in the spaces provided.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_199778\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" data-caption=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-199778\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/pagination-details.png\" alt=\"Pagination details.\" width=\"600\" height=\"453\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Add as many questions per page as you\u2019d like!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>When the pagination details are entered, the rest can be created like any other knowledge quiz. That includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Results Display Method (real-time or on submission)<\/li>\n<li>Option to Show Evaluation Loader<\/li>\n<li>Correct Answer Message<\/li>\n<li>Incorrect Answer Message<\/li>\n<li>Social Sharing Options<\/li>\n<li>Rendering Options (load quiz using AJAX and prevent page caching on quiz pages)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Set the quiz up as you feel appropriate, and then you\u2019re on to&#8230;<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"previewing\" target=\"_blank\"><\/a>Previewing the Quiz<\/h2>\n<p>When you have your quiz configured to your standards, click <strong>Preview<\/strong> to see what it looks like. Let\u2019s check it out!<\/p>\n<p>I uploaded a cover image and titled it <strong>Forms and Superheros, <\/strong>and added a description. This is how the quiz begins\u2026<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_199779\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" data-caption=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-199779\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Preview-1.png\" alt=\"Beginning of quiz image.\" width=\"600\" height=\"478\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">You hit \u2018Start Quiz\u2019 to begin.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>And here\u2019s a quick walkthrough where I have a correct &#8212; and incorrect &#8212; answer. Plus, it\u2019ll show me the results. Keep in mind that this is a two-question quiz that I wanted on the same page.<\/p>\n<video loop muted autoplay playsinline class='dev-html5-video'><source src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Preview.webm\" type=\"video\/webm\"><source src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Preview.mp4\" type=\"video\/mp4\"><\/video>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><small>As you can see, Forminator lets you know when you have the answer right or wrong immediately.<\/small><\/p>\n<p>When you click <strong>View Results<\/strong>, Forminator lets you know exactly how many you got right and wrong. <em>Whew! <\/em>This was a tough one.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_199780\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" data-caption=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-199780\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/results.png\" alt=\"Results of quiz.\" width=\"600\" height=\"163\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u00bd isn\u2019t a great score. I shouldn\u2019t have picked Dev Man as my favorite character.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>If the preview looks good, like any quiz, hit <strong>Publish<\/strong>, and Forminator will deliver a shortcode that can be used on any page, post, or acceptable widget.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_199781\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" data-caption=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-ratio-full wp-image-199781\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/shortcode-1050x1157.png\" alt=\"Forminator shortcode.\" width=\"1050\" height=\"1157\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">The thumbs up from Forminator mean it\u2019s ready to go.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><em>And that\u2019s it! <\/em><\/p>\n<p>If you need to, you can always edit the quiz at any time through Forminator\u2019s dashboard. Otherwise, your paginated knowledge quiz is ready to go.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"bulk\" target=\"_blank\"><\/a>Bulk Editing<\/h2>\n<p>Another great advanced editing feature in Forminator is <strong>Bulk Editing<\/strong>. Bulk editing lets you add a large number of options at once. This makes the process of editing more streamlined, efficient, and quick.<\/p>\n<p>This feature works with the <strong>Radio<\/strong>, <strong>Checkbox<\/strong>, and <strong>Select fields<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_199782\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" data-caption=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-199782\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/various-fields-for-bulk-editing.png\" alt=\"Various fields in Forminator.\" width=\"600\" height=\"587\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">All of these fields can be bulk edited.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>When it comes to bulk editing, you have three options. You can bulk edit:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manually<\/li>\n<li>Via CSV File<\/li>\n<li>Predefined Options<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The process to get this implemented is the same in all of the fields. Bulk Edit is located in the <strong>Labels<\/strong> tab in each respective field.<\/p>\n<p>To get started, simply click the<strong> Bulk Edit <\/strong>option.<\/p>\n<video loop muted autoplay playsinline class='dev-html5-video'><source src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/bulk-edit.webm\" type=\"video\/webm\"><source src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/bulk-edit.mp4\" type=\"video\/mp4\"><\/video>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><small>One-click is all it takes to get moving.<\/small><\/p>\n<p>Once implementing Bulk Edit, any existing options you have manually created will automatically populate in the Bulk Edit section.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_199783\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" data-caption=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-199783\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/options-already-included.png\" alt=\"Various options.\" width=\"600\" height=\"565\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">A couple of the options included are Option 1; one; 0 and Option 2; two; 0.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Let\u2019s take a look at each option when it comes to bulk editing.<\/p>\n<h3>Manually Entering Bulk Options<\/h3>\n<p>This option is great if you want to manually enter or paste your list of options into the Bulk Edit area. When doing this, enter them one per line with each term separated by a semicolon in this order:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Option Label;<\/li>\n<li>Option Value;<\/li>\n<li>Selected;<\/li>\n<li>Image URL (this can be blank if you have no image)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Or, you can enter <strong>Label<\/strong> only. By doing this, Forminator will generate the value automatically and set selected to zero. Plus, it won\u2019t add an image URL.<\/p>\n<p>An example of this might look like this\u2026<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_199784\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" data-caption=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-199784\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/manual-example.png\" alt=\"Manual example of entering field options.\" width=\"600\" height=\"356\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">As you can see, I added my URL to the image.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Manually entering options is best for adding just several options at a time in bulk.<\/p>\n<h3><a id=\"post-385-_yug0zz3ab441\" target=\"_blank\"><\/a>Adding Options Via CSV File<\/h3>\n<p>When you have a ton of options on a CSV file, you can quickly bulk upload these to Forminator.<\/p>\n<p>What if you don\u2019t have a CSV file? Download <strong>Forminator\u2019s CSV template<\/strong>. It has a list of examples that you can edit to include your own options.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_199785\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" data-caption=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-199785\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/download-template.png\" alt=\"Where you download a CSV template.\" width=\"598\" height=\"496\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">You can conveniently download a CSV template.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The example file is fundamental, with just a few pieces of information. Edit however you want, and then click <strong>Upload File<\/strong> once you have edited and saved the CSV file. Then, hit <strong>Import <\/strong>to add all of your options into the Bulk Edit section.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_199786\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" data-caption=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-199786\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/upload.png\" alt=\"The import button.\" width=\"597\" height=\"212\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">The file name will appear, and just import it in.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Keep in mind that uploading will replace any existing options that you have in place.<\/p>\n<h3><a id=\"post-385-_917kspgwaew0\" target=\"_blank\"><\/a>Predefined Options<\/h3>\n<p>Forminator has quite a few predefined options you can use in an instant. They\u2019re all available via the dropdown menu.<\/p>\n<video loop muted autoplay playsinline class='dev-html5-video'><source src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/predefined-options.webm\" type=\"video\/webm\"><source src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/predefined-options.mp4\" type=\"video\/mp4\"><\/video>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><small>The dropdown menu has them all.<\/small><\/p>\n<p>Choose from the dropdown menu:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Age<\/li>\n<li>Gender<\/li>\n<li>Educational Attainment<\/li>\n<li>Employment Status<\/li>\n<li>Occupation<\/li>\n<li>Marital Status<\/li>\n<li>Continents<\/li>\n<li>Countries<\/li>\n<li>American States<\/li>\n<li>Canadian Provinces<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Plus, you can add <strong>New Option,<\/strong> which will allow you to input your data.<\/p>\n<p>The predefined options make it quick and easy to bulk edit whatever field you\u2019re working in.<\/p>\n<h2><a name=\"additional\" target=\"_blank\"><\/a>Additional Advanced Features<\/h2>\n<p>There are several more advanced features for Forminator that you may find helpful. These were all included in the release of 1.14.12, and include <strong>Image<\/strong> <strong>Support for Checkbox &amp; Radio Field, HTML Quiz Description Field,<\/strong> and <strong>Setting reCAPTCHA Badge Position<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll quickly check out each one of these and demonstrate how they work.<\/p>\n<h3>Image Support in Checkbox and Radio Field<\/h3>\n<p>Forminator now gives you the option to upload an image to the Checkbox and Radio fields. This can help forms become much more visually appealing and easier to set up than uploading an image separately for a form.<\/p>\n<p>Just have a form with the fields in them (if you need help setting up a form, please check out our <a href=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/get-the-most-out-of-forminator\/\" target=\"_blank\">How to Get the Most Out of Forminator <\/a>article).<\/p>\n<p>Go into the form field, and you\u2019ll see that under the <strong>Labels<\/strong> tab, there\u2019s a checkbox you can click to <strong>Enable Images<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_199787\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" data-caption=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-199787\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/add-images.png\" alt=\"Where you enable images.\" width=\"590\" height=\"381\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Enabling images is just one click away!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Once enabled, you simply go to the <strong>Options<\/strong>, click the dropdown by any option you want an image in, and upload a photo.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_199788\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" data-caption=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-199788\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/upload-image.png\" alt=\"The dropdown to upload images.\" width=\"593\" height=\"358\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Upload an appropriate image that goes with your option.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Once you have your images uploaded, click <strong>Apply,<\/strong> and you\u2019re all set! Your images will be included with your Checkbox or Radio field.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_199790\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" data-caption=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-199790\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/options-with-images.png\" alt=\"Image options examples.\" width=\"600\" height=\"521\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Forminator makes for some fitting images to use here.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>You can always edit and adjust your images at any time.<\/p>\n<h3>HTML Quiz Description Field<\/h3>\n<p>Add descriptions for each individual quiz answer in Forminator\u2019s HTML <strong>Quiz Description Field<\/strong>. This feature helps clarify any answer for your users and can help make for a more engaging quiz.<\/p>\n<p>All you do is type it in the<strong> Description<\/strong> area in each individual question field.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_199791\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" data-caption=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-199791\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/description.png\" alt=\"Description of quiz response.\" width=\"593\" height=\"583\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Add the perfect description to your personality or knowledge quiz!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Once you have the description entered, click <strong>Apply<\/strong>. Your description is now added!<\/p>\n<h3>Set reCAPTCHA Badge Position<\/h3>\n<p>This is a fast adjustment that can be made regarding the reCAPTCHA position.
