Gmail likes!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Additionally, <a href=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/docs\/hub-2-0\/pro-email\/#email-account-configuration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">setting up an email address using Pro Email or our hosted email service requires using Transport Layer Security (TLS)<\/a>, so your emails automatically meet this requirement too!<\/p>\n<p>If you or your clients are using Pro Email or our hosted email services for regular business emailing purposes, you don&#8217;t need to worry about setting up DMARC for your domain.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"bulk-emailing\">Bulk Emailing<\/h3>\n<p>As per Google&#8217;s and Yahoo&#8217;s requirements, if you plan to send 5,000 emails or more, you will need to publish a valid DMARC policy.<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"add-dns\">Add DNS Records For 3rd-Party Email Services<\/h4>\n<p>If you currently host an email domain with WPMU DEV that you plan to use for bulk sending purposes (emailing 5,000+ users a day), then check with your bulk sending provider for instructions on how to add the records you will need to comply with their services.<\/p>\n<p>For example, let&#8217;s say you send email newsletters using a domain&#8217;s DNS managed with WPMU DEV and an email marketing service like Mailchimp, GetResponse, Sender, HubSpot, etc.<\/p>\n<p>In this example, we&#8217;ll use Aweber for a domain&#8217;s DNS managed with WPMU DEV that needs authentication.<\/p>\n<p>To authenticate the domain, find their setup instructions.\u00a0In Aweber&#8217;s case, a notice displays in the user&#8217;s account dashboard with a link to their Domain Authentication screen.<\/p>\n<div class=\"image-grid cgrid-row\">\n<div class=\"cgrid-col cgrid-col-span-full\">\n<figure id=\"attachment_222137\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" data-caption=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-222137 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/aweber-email-unauthenticated-03a.png\" alt=\"AWeber Domain Authentication screen\" width=\"1499\" height=\"917\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">This domain needs DKIM set up and a DMARC policy to be authenticated by the provider.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>To authenticate DKIM, Aweber requires adding various new CNAME records to the domain&#8217;s DNS records.<\/p>\n<p>So, the first step is to copy the Name (Host) record to the clipboard&#8230;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_222126\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" data-caption=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-222126 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/wpmudev.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/aweber-email-unauthenticated-06.png\" alt=\"CNAME records supplied by the email service provider being copied to the clipboard.\" width=\"1229\" height=\"415\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Copy the records provided by your service provider to your clipboard.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Next, go into <em>The Hub &gt;
