Rename it!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Every WordPress blogger is acquainted with the default Uncategorized category, where posts go when you forget to assign them a more descriptive category.<\/p>\n<p>WordPress does not allow you to delete this category. However, one option is to rename it to something a little more professional-sounding, such as &#8220;Other&#8221; or &#8220;Posts&#8221; or whatever you like, so that you never have to see that unfriendly &#8220;Uncategorized&#8221; category name again.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s simple.
