Cannot Access Theme Options

I need to change the link on the Front Page of my site (http://fast-home-business-success.com).

I put a temporary link there (the one behind the button – I think it’s on the “Branding” page) but now I’m ready to change to the permanent link.

BUT, despite being able to access all of the options previously, when I go into Theme Options and click Front Page, Buddy Press or Branding nothing happens. Consequerntly I cannot get to the field to change the link that HAS to be changed.

Any help to resolve 1) the access problem or at least 2) where I can access the link to change it even if I cannot resolve 1)

What do you mean that exactly? I can’t see what you’re referring to.

So, you’re also saying you can’t get to Appearance > Theme Options from your dashboard? Do you have problems with any other area of your dashboard?

Thanks for getting back to me.

OK, let me clarify.

The button on the my homepage is added via the Theme Options. You add the url that the button links to via (I think) the "Branding" tab or it may be the "Front Page" tab. As I can no longer access either I can't check.

The screenshots should clarify this.

No other problems with Dashboard or site as far as I know.

seems like a js conflict in admin panel.

try open up business-featurelibraryfunctionsoption-functions.php line 1089+ you’ll see code like

```
try edit them to
```
<script type="text/javascript">

jQuery.noConflict();

var $jd = jQuery;

if still not work, disableing plugin one by one and see which one causing the conflict.

Thanks for the quick response.

The change to the option-functions.php didn’t make any difference.

I then renamed my plugins as plugins_old to see if there was a conflict somewhere (easier than going through one by one!). There was. I could then access the tabs as required.

Changed plugins folder back and all working fine.

Will have to go through each plugin to find culprit when I have the time.

Seems to me plugins (or conflicting plugins) are the biggest causes of problems with WordPress

Changing won’t work sorry Richie we’re already using noconflict.

@wizzer It will be something clashing with a plugin. My advice is to remove each and test. However, remember you have to make sure that you clear your browser cache sometimes with javascript.

I have as a result of these tabs used in a lot of themes (blogs mu, business range) changed the way our themes work ie; no javascript on back end. At some point this may roll out into these older themes but it is not planned currently.
