Custom post types not supported in Simple Sitemaps for Multisite plugin?

I have just installed the simple sitemaps for multisite plugin on my multisite wordpress installation. I followed the instructions, and my sitemaps have been created, but they don’t include my custom post type ‘listing’.

How can I add these posts to my sitemaps?

thanks for posting.

currently this plugin doesn’t support custom post-types, however I have found a thread where the developers discusses & provides code to add to your themes functions.php to achieve this.

Of course, you’ll want to substitute “MY_POST_TYPE” with your actual post type name.

Then I guess the better alternative would be to use InfiniteSEO instead. Am I right?
