Defender scan not working

I have not been able to run a Defender scan since downloading the plugin. Each time I attempt to start it, it displays the progress bar set to 0, and spits out two statuses: “Initializing…”, and then “Analyzing WordPress core files…” It never moves past this point, and the progress bar will stay at 0 for over 12 hours at least.

I attempted to deactivate my plugins and troubleshoot, but even with every single one (except for WPMU Dashboard) deactivated, I receive the same results. Please advise. Thanks.
