Global CSS for All Sites in the Multisite

Hi,

I have a multisite instalation. I want to know if there is some plugin to allow me create a single and global .css file comprising styles to be applied to all subsites of the network.

I know the Branding plugin, but it works for backend, I want the global css for the frontend site.

Sorry, I don’t know of any plugins which provide custom CSS globally on the front end.

You could do this with a mu-plugin though.

simply create a file called functions.php & upload it to wp-content/mu-plugins using FTP

(If mu-plugins folder doesn’t exist create it)

Add the following to the functions.php
```
<?php

// Add items to the header!

function wpmu_global_css() {

wp_enqueue_style( 'wpmu_global_css', dirname(__FILE__) . '/my-global-css.css' );

}

add_filter('wp_enqueue_scripts', 'wpmu_global_css');
```
Just add all your CSS to a file called my-global-css.css & place it in the mu-plugins folder.

Hi,

Try the following instead.

<?php

// Add items to the header!

function wpmu_global_css() {

echo "<script>

// place your custom CSS styles here

</script>";

}

add_filter('wp_head', 'wpmu_global_css');

Basicly place your custom CSS inbetween the <script> tags.

Could you please try replacing <script> with <style> tag.

So it should be:
```
<?php

// Add items to the header!

function wpmu_global_css() {

echo "<style>

// place your custom CSS styles here

</style>";

}

add_filter('wp_head', 'wpmu_global_css');
```

I have put this code as an active mu-plugins, I see it in

/wp-admin/network/plugins.php?plugin_status=mustuse

add_filter(‘wp_enqueue_scripts’, ‘wpmu_global_css’:wink:;

But where do I put the my-global-css.css file? , if I put it in the /mu-plugins/my-global-css.css is do not work

Hi morfjord

Try changing the following line

wp_enqueue_style( 'wpmu_global_css', dirname(__FILE__) . '/my-global-css.css' );

Replace with:

wp_enqueue_style( 'wpmu_global_css', WP_CONTENT_DIR . '/my-global-css.css' );

Then upload the CSS file to /wp-content/
