[Google Maps] Move Post Map to Widget Area

I had a similar issue before here:

however i'm moving from the upfront theme.

How can i make this work in the same way but with my new plugin? the MU-Plugin folder and file still exists.

Just to add, the widget is visible in Custom Post, Events. Just click an event on the website

Is there an easier way to make all events ive created so far (hundreds) be assigned to the maps ive already created. Theyre added in the shortcode area, but not assigned

Just to make this clear, you need to move the map from the main content area of single event pages into the sidebar, is that correct?

Is there an easier way to make all events ive created so far (hundreds) be assigned to the maps ive already created. Theyre added in the shortcode area, but not assigned

I’m afraid there’s no easy way to do something like that, as it’d need some custom coding.

Ive just added a new widget that allows me to add a class to widgets. I then added a widget and gave it the class mapHolder as described in the link above.

this will be the class used in code

I then changed the mu-plugin script to reflect the class and location of the widget..
