How do I use the WHMCS url encoder in the plugin

I am struggling to understand the encoder. Can you give an example of what it does, and how to use it?

Can you kindly review that post once ?

Also, when I submit a ticket, I get the following error:

“WHMCS Integration: A valid URL was not provided.”

Its most likely an issue with the settings somewhere. Have you put the WHMCS site on portal theme or not ?

Please advise.

As for the submit tickets error, yes i confirm that I am using the portal theme. Feel free to test at

by submitting a ticket. Everything else seems to work fine apart from this.

Having tested my skills at encoding, the url that should be visited after submitting a ticket is http://www.zingycreations.com/support/?whmcsportal%5Bpage%5D=whmcs%3A%2F%2Fwww.zingycreations.com%2Fwhmcs%2Fsubmitticket.php%3Fstep%3D4

The url I end up on is: http://www.zingycreations.com/support/?whmcsportal%5Bpage%5D=whmcs%3A%2F%2Fwww.zingycreations.com%2Fwhmcs%2Fsubmitticket.php%3Fstep%3D3

Somehow these don’t match when using your plugin. It works fine directly via the portal.

should be

```
Missing square brackets. If I add the square brackets I get a ticket created back.

Is something on your server eating square brackets?

Ah, it would seem the brackets are there on my browser too, its just that your site is eating the brackets.

Sorry problem is at this end, but not relevant to solving the problem.

I still have no solution to this problem.

The last message your support guy seemed to imply my server was deleting “[” when it is your site that is deleting when posting the link here. He tested further with the working url and provided a screenshot, so of course it would work! Had he read my the thread properly he would have found it not working.

Have you tested this problem on one of your installs?

Actually, don’t worry. I have cancelled my subscription and will no longer be using this plugin. It is more trouble than it is worth…

Thanks for posting back. Sorry for the delay in a fix here. I had been testing this on my lab site and it worked fine.

Here is a screenshot of the ticket I created and replied through my wordpress website.

I have asked @Arnold to chime in and assist us on why this might be happening. He will be here soon.

I am sure we will be able to fix it together.

Yeh typical… this would make it very hard to track down the problem. With different “bugs” now happening with your plugin, and the other whmcs plugin available I gave up last night. The other plugin fixes the bug above, and your plugin fixes the bugs in the other plugin! I just wish I had a fully working version from the start.

I decided to integration the whmcs directly myself http://www.zingycreations.com/whmcs and now have much more control over it all, without struggling for 3rd party support.
