how to setup paid version smartcrawl

I came across most of answer in the web but mostly they don’t have the details to setup smartcrawl. Please give me a guide.

You should be able to install the Premium Version from your WordPress Dashboard->WPMU DEV->Plugins if you have the WPMU DEV Dashboard plugin installed in your site. Here’s a screenshot for reference:

Each of our plugins come with an installation/usage guide, here’s the usage guide for SmartCrawl.

between, after I using the smartcrawl first time, I got the attached error message. What can I do?

I did install but doesn't match with the screen cap you showing in the usage guide. And Smartcrawl doesn't show under the setting too.

Pls refer to the screen cap provided.

Apologies about the delay here, I’ve been checking your site and I can see the error now. I can see that there are ‘500 errors’ showing in the scan.

This is what actually fires the above message you mentioned, if scan finds out more than 3 ‘500 errors’ it will stop and show “We encountered too many server errors, and won’t process any further.” message in order not to DoS your site.

Cause of 500 errors is usually server related, most likely the server is not capable on handling crawl requests on top of your regular site traffic or your server is configured in a way to stop crawlers from accessing it.

Moreover, I do have some troubleshooting suggestions for you. Can you please initiate a plugin/theme conflict test in your site? You can follow the guides here (Points E and F). Here’s a handy blog post about 500 Server errors and how to get rid of it.

besides, there is no follow for the problem I placed on Hustle too. I can’t configure to Mailchimp

Hope you are doing well today and I apologize about the delay here!

To be sure about the issues, we’ll need to troubleshoot it properly. I’d suggest you to initiate a complete plugin/theme conflict test and report the results to us. That is, deactivate all plugins except WPMU Dashboard and SmartCrawl, switch to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Seventeen, clear all server and browser cache and then try to replicate the issue. If you can’t see the errors in SmartCrawl anymore, please activate your plugins and theme one by one and check if the error appear after each activation. The test will run like an elimination process and ultimately you’ll find the culprit plugin/theme.

If you still can see the error, we’ll need to enable debug in your wp-config.php file. Before going through any changes, I’ll recommend you to backup your site. All you need to do is open the file and search for this line:

define( 'WP_DEBUG', false );

Replace the line with the following:
```
define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );

define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );

define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false );
```
After the changes, try to replicate the process once again. A more detailed error log file will be created in {WordPress Root}/wp-content folder named debug.log. Please upload the debug.log file into a cloud storage system like Dropbox and attach the share link here.
