[Hustle] Hustle form not working

Dear support team,

I have a mailchimp form on the page, using Hustle.

1) This form doesn't work. Could you please tell me more about this error ? "Oups, something went wrong".

I granted support access, so you may have a look at it.

Is it related to MailChimp's field names ?

As I can upload an image here nor paste code, I'll put more info on a second message underneath.

2) How may I double check that Hustle passes GDPR info to MailChimp (proof and date of consent) ?

3) I would also like Hustle to save into MailChimp the URL from which a user subscribe. Is there a native option to do so ? Or maybe an hidden field ?

FYI, I have edited your comment and replaced the big code comment with the pastebin link to make this thread shorter :slight_smile:

#1: This may happen for several reasons. First, let’s check the debug info. Would you please enable debug mode and check if there is any error? To enable debug mode please go to wp-config.php and change
```
define( 'WP_DEBUG', false );
```
to
```
define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );

define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false );

define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );
```
Now submit the form. That will create a file called debug.log inside wp-content folder. Open that file, check the very bottom and you will see the latest errors. Please send me those.

If you don’t see anything in the debug.log, then would you please run a conflict test? Please deactivate all plugins except this one and check if the problem gone. If so, then enable all plugins one by one and find which one is having conflict. You need to do the same with themes as well

#2: Would you please explain a bit more about it? What do you mean by double check? Do you want to pass the date of consent into mailchimp field?

#3: Currently, this is not possible I am afraid. But if you create a separate thread, I can mark as a feature request.

  1) I tried this, but there isn't any debug.log file in the wp-content folder.
  
  I also ran a plug-in conflict test. I also changed the theme. The issue was still there.
  
  I'll have you know that when you deactivate Ultimate Branding, you lose every SMTP and cookie notice settings, which is kind of a pain.
  
  2) I meant "How can I make sure that the form is GDPR compliant and that it stores the date of consent in MailChimp ?"
  
  3) That a bummer… Isn't possible to add a hidden field, at least ? Maybe a JS script or a mu-plugin that could parse the URL to MailChimp aside the regular Hustle form ?

Yes, this is a known bug and reported to the developer, the developer is working on it and will release with a fix as soon as possible.

About rest of the things, would you please send me your admin login and cPanel details? I will take a closer look.

      I’ve used Twenty-seventeen theme and no other plug-in than Hustle and I still get the same “Oops, something went wrong” error.

I’m sorry for the delay on my side – but the issue is still there, I can’t use the Support Access, I’m getting the login screen.

WP Defender should not disable Support Access – it can be something else. In this case, can you create a temporary admin login to your site and send it to us the same way you sent FTP credentials https://wpmudev.com/forums/topic/hustle-hustle-form-not-working#post-1343769 ?

I’m sorry for missing that credentials from earlier message!

I’ve set up a form with my MailChimp API and that form (on page “test”:wink: works correctly. There are no errors.

So Hustle works correctly with MailChimp integration.

Can you login to MailChimp, go to list which you are using in Hustle and then Settings -> List fields and *|MERGE|* tags and make a screenshot of the whole page?

Yes, it helped :slight_smile: thanks so much. I did now a quick test with your embed on a test page (/test-embed/) and it showed that subscription was submitted. So it should be also working on other pages as well.

I realized that order of your embed fields is different than the default on and then I started comparing – and it was Field Name. I changed fields name to first_name and last_name and it was it.

Field labels are still the same (Nom and Prenom).

Please check if that’s working for as well.
