Log in required to attend an event

Hi,

I want to make it required for the users to log in in order to attend to an event. If user is logged out the functionality for make a booking should not be available. How do I accomplish this with Events+?

When a user clicks to attend they will be redirected to the login screen in WordPress to login to pay for the event.

Or did you wish to achieve something else?

I want the events to display regardless if you are logged in or not. It’s just the buttons that I want to hide if they are not logged in.

I’m afraid what I was going to suggest won’t work then.

This will require some custom coding to get done, you could try posting a job on the WPMU DEV job board here https://wpmudev.com/wpmu-jobs/ to see if a developer can get right on it.

Hello,

There isn’t such an option out of the box but, using the plugin API, this can easily be achieved with a couple of lines of code. The code below will not show any of the RSVP buttons for your logged out visitors. Your logged in users will be able to RSVP normally:
```
function alizon_requires_login_to_rsvp ($form) {

return is_user_logged_in() ? $form : '';

}

add_filter('eab-rsvps-rsvp_form', 'alizon_requires_login_to_rsvp');
```
You can place this code in your theme’s functions.php or in a mu-plugin (which is simply a .php file in your wp-content/mu-plugins directory). If you’ll be making a mu-plugin file, please remember to add the opening “<?php” tag at the very beginning of your file, before any of the code.
