I am using [accountform] on a page on the front end of my website for users to update their information. All appears to render correctly and changes are successfully submitted and recorded in the database.
However, I have also noticed that any submissions on this page also result in the field “show_admin_bar_front” in WP table wp_usermeta to also get changed to a value of “false”. This is not the case if the user changes their information via the standard WP Profile page.
The implication is that each time a user who is an editor/contributor/etc. and should be able to see the Admin toolbar along the top of the window loses the ability when they submit a change via [accountform].
I don’t see anything in the account.form.php file that is proactively making the change, nonetheless it is occurring. Any help or insight is appreciated.
