On settings writing press this function i can only post content from my own site?

On settings writing press this function i can only post content from my own site? This function is normally to share third party content on your own site but it seems that i can not do that?

Please advice.

Also if i am logged in i have this issue. Hi @kevin

This is because of mod_security filter in your server. There are two ways to fix this.

#1:

You need to add the following line in mod_security.conf:

<LocationMatch "/wordpress/wp-admin/press-this.php">

SecFilterInheritance Off

</LocationMatch>

If you don’t have access to that file, you need to ask your host, they can do it.

#2 (easier)

Create a new bookmark in your browser and use the following link as bookmark link:

javascript:var d=document,w=window,e=w.getSelection,k=d.getSelection,x=d.selection,s=(e?e():(k)?k():(x?x.createRange().text:0)),f='https://ebusiness4life.com/wp-admin/press-this.php',l=d.location,e=encodeURIComponent,u=f+'?u='+e(l.href.replace(///g,'\/'))+'&t='+e(d.title)+'&s='+e(s)+'&v=4';a=function(){if(!w.open(u,'t','toolbar=0,resizable=1,scrollbars=1,status=1,width=720,height=570'))l.href=u;};if (/Firefox/.test(navigator.userAgent)) setTimeout(a, 0); else a();void(0)

Then use that bookmark as press this option. It should look like the screenshot.
