Hello,
we have a fresh WP, Multisite, Buddypress install.
We decided to use the Multisite registration process instead of the Budddypress one, due to another unsolved error (https://wpmudev.com/forums/topic/register-forwards-to-blogscreate-which-gives-404-error-to-non-logged-in-users), but can’t get it working:
– User subscribes for an account an a site (without giving in an individual password)
– User activates account
– User receives message, that the account is activated and accessible via the self-chosen password (which in fact he didn’t choose). The Password is not printed in the mail.
Seems to be a conflict between Multisite and Buddypress user registration.
Can anybody help us or have an idea what we could do to solve this?
