Problem buddypress activity submit button missing

The buddypress activity submit button under the “what’s new” section is missing.

Can someone assist? If needed, I can provide a login and password

Sorry for the delay, just now found the time to log into your site…

It looks like you have rtMedia also active on that site. That will cause conflicts because both plugins are trying to do the same thing.

Try deactivating rtMedia.

I just took another look at your site with the JS console. The following error is reported

Warning: you have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors.

Please review all active plugins on your site that call that API and adjust/deactivate where possible to see if that resolves the display issue.

Yes, I tried deactivating that through a plugin I installed. But that hasn’t worked either. Additionally, this particular issue with the submit button happened prior to installing the plugin in question. ugh..

For me I guess this is a fairly important glitch to fix. Thank you for continuing with you clearly capable assistance with this matter.

Although I’m still not sure what script is conflicting and causing this issue, I just found a fix for it. Once again, CSS to the rescue. :slight_smile:

Add the following to your theme’s style-sheet, or the Custom CSS module of Jetpack:
```
#whats-new-form .bp-wrapper #whats-new-options {

height:auto;

overflow:visible;

}
```
That should ensure the submit button properly displays.

I added the following code to the CSS in jetpack as you showed me. Submit button still not visible… It’s really strange because it was there working fine and one day was gone…

I think I made an error with updating my membership to WPMU when I try to register distinction-review.com under the video tutorial plugin it says website already registered.

Can this be resolved?

Hmm… I see that domain registered for your update notifications (Dashboard plugin active), but I don’t see any domains registered for the video API.

I just added it now, so you should be OK.

Yes, it says That domain is already registered by you or another user! Contact support for help. So the video on the site under video tutorials says access denied..

Not sure how to handle.

I just went over previous emails we had with you, and I see what the problem is with the video API.

You had added your domain to an expired account with username: mark_moore. But your current account is under the username: mmoore.

I just added your domain to your current account. Can you check the embedded video again to ensure it displays?

Yes just checked the embedded video displays on the site.. It still says access denied.. ugh.. lol

Nope, not a browser or cache issue. I get the access denied message too. :slight_frown:

Please try resetting your API key from WPMU DEV. Click the “Edit” link next to your API on the “Manage” screen of your Dashboard.

yeah just tried that but every time I click edit in the manage section it takes me to the WPMU login page and asks me to login.. i logged in again.. And then it repeats the same thing over..

It won’t let me change the API Key

I just discovered you had a previous premium account that expired in July. Your domain had been added to that account too.

I just removed it from the old account, so it is only in your current account.
