Quizzes that upgrade subscription

Is there a plugin that I can use to create a quiz that will automatically update a users subscription when the test is passed?

Thanks for bringing this up, it certainly sounds like a useful customization to the plugin.

Unfortunately, it is not currently available – but we would love to put it into consideration for future development

I have moved this ticket to the applicable feature requests area and I have alerted the lead developer to the request.

It might take a bit longer than useful but alternatively, you could see if there’s a developer available at wpmu jobs who could get onto it right this minute

I was thinking about using the WP Survey And Quiz Tool plugin. Maybe I could pull the pass/fail status from the test, and if passing I could add an access level to the member?

Any tutorials on how to toggle membership levels like this?

You can also move a user from one subscription to another if you want to ensure they are only on a single one.

So after the user submits the test I’d like to check their pass/fail status and update their level if they have passed. I’m not experienced enough to write this. Hopefully someone can help!

I checked on phpMyAdmin and it looks like the data I need is in 3 different tables:

wp_wpsqt_all_results (pass fail column = pass, user name column = person_name)

wp_user (word press user table, user_login matches up with the above person_name)

wp_m_membership_relationship (membership plugin table with wordpress user ids matching level ids)

I’m thinking something like… (Please forgive my lack of knowledge here…)

If (wp_wpsqt_all_results.pass == 1) && (wp_wpsqt_all_results.person_name == wp_user.user_login) {

$member->add_level(4); //add membership level_id 4 for this user

}

I haven’t gotten this to work (still just an idea!)…I’m trying to automate the access level update but I’m not sure how to make my idea come to life. For now I will manually toggle the members levels until I learn how to write this code or someone is able to assist.

Thank you for the additional input and any chance you tried the jobs board to see if there is a developer available to take on this job?

I will ping the lead developer @Barry for his advice to see if he has a bit more to offer expanding on his original post or if indeed this is a custom coding job beyond the support we provide here.

Though this may take a bit longer then a normal ticket, I will try to get him in here asap.
