Signup form error messages not internationalized (i18n)

Although the Membership Pro 2 plugin has been developed in such a way that one can easily translate it (besides frequent text changes in the frontend on plugin updates that I particularly dislike) the signup form validation error messages are hard-coded in the app/assets/js/jquery.m2.validate.js file and so are only translatable when the translation is done in that file – the WordPress .po and .mo files cannot be used for that.

It would be easily implementable by writing a JavaScript array or object into the signup form by PHP using these texts so that they can be translated (“__(…:wink:” method) and just using that array in the “messages” object in the JS file mentioned above.

Changing these texts in the JS file means that for each plugin update I might to do that all over again.

A major inconvenience.
