Ultimate branding – email header

Ultimate Branding email header option over rides even contact form 7 setup. So all contact form mails have from address as admin address .

Is there a way I could avoid that?

The plugin uses this hook using its $ub_custom_email_from
```
add_filter('wp_mail_from', array( $this, 'from_email' ));
```
You can always unhook that or simply call the hook with a higher priority and over ride this behaviour.

Hi Jude,

I understood this code. But CF7 uses different code and wp_mail_from have higher priority over that.

So what I wish to have is to exclude the email header function on certain forms. is there a way?

N.B: I don’t wish to edit CF7.

Hey Ajay

A good workaround is if you have say [Web Form] or something similar is all emails contact form sends out. You can use the wp_mail filter and change from addresses.

add_filter( 'wp_mail', 'my_wp_mail_filter' );

function my_wp_mail_filter( $args ) {



$from = 'alternate.email@mysite.com'; ;

$string = '[Webform]' ;

if ( pregmatch ( $string , $args['subject'] ) )

$args['headers'] = 'From:' . $from ;



return $args;

}
```
