Urgent Issue; auto redirect (on new community) is losing my members ..

Hi,

I have setup a MU Buddy press website on a subsite.. this is the main community for the MU install, it is at c4cc.co-lab.cc… when people goto the http://co-lab.cc they are redirected to a user sign up form (see screenshot) I need them directed to c4cc.co-lab.cc (not this signup form)

Please help..

Found this code whilst searching for a solution, save this as a .php file like my-redirect.php and ftp it to your wp-contents>plugins folder.

Then go to your plugins and activate it, this will then redirect everyone coming to the main site to your subsite.

I get a white page with this text at the top

Ooops add a <?php at the top as a fresh line and a ?> at the end

That should fix it.

Hi,

I have tried this and I get this message when I try to network activate it.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/sites/co-lab.cc/public_html/colab/wp-content/plugins/my-redirect.php on line 12

I tried this on the subsite as well, it did not seem to work so I deactivated it and tried network activating it.

I looked to see what a T function is and it seems to relate to php version. So, just so you know I am running php 5.3

Any ideas?

Hi you don’t need to activate it just activate it on the main site.

Hi there could you add a traling slash to this line

$url = 'http://c4cc.co-lab.cc';

so it becomes

$url = 'http://c4cc.co-lab.cc/';

and see if that works?
