When trying configure SmartCrawl..I receive this error

When trying to configure smartcrawl I receive this message

“Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 24 bytes) in /home1/spitfis1/public_html/wp-includes/taxonomy.php on line 1531”. How do I resolve this?

The above error indicates that your website is running out of memory limit, you’ll have to increase the memory limit, by creating a php.ini file using a FTP client, in your root directory. Once the file is created, please add the following rules in it, and check whether it helps:
```
upload_max_filesize = 150M

post_max_size = 256M

memory_limit = 512M

file_uploads = On

max_execution_time = 180
```

If the instructions in the given blog doesn’t help, would recommend you to get in touch with your host, and ask them to increase the memory limit.
