URL Shortening Plug-in

Hello.

It’s been long enough since most of the social sites got their own URL shorteners like FB.me, Goo.gl and even WP.me.

It would be great if there was a plug-in that would make it much easier to integrate the permalinks with both – the shortener URL and actual URL.

For ex. in WordPress.com, users can change the permalinks from “name.wordpress.com/about-page” to “name.wp.me/about-page” in the post/page edit page in just clicks.

Any ideas and thoughts on this?
