Floating Social Breaks with Facebook Widget

Hi Guys,

I have a FB widget in the sidebar. Got it from this site:

https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like-box/

I am using iframe code.

Whenever the page with the widget is displayed, the floating social bar does not display.

Please help :slight_smile:

    Greetings Scott,

    It is my opinion that this is probably because due to duplicate functions the former is not allowing the later to initialize.

    If you want a further investigation to determine if this is fact it will be necessary to view the source code of the page to see exactly what is happening – though I am convinced this is the case as mentioned above.

    In that event if it proves to be true, then it is a choice of one or the other.

    For further assistance please submit URL for the site/page in which this phenomena is happening and I will see if I can get the lead developer in here to confirm my suspicions.

    Please advise.

    Can’t a solution be coded into the plugin?

    Please submit the URL for the site/page in which this phenomena is happening and I will see if I can get the lead developer in here to confirm my suspicions or to possibly offer advice/advise on a possible solution which may possibly be to coding it into the plugin – that will be for the lead developer of the Floating Social plugin to determine – but i need something to work with here please.

    Unfortunately the site is under development and behind the maintenance mode curtain :slight_frown:. I will followup with you as soon as the site is live. Should be within the next 7 days or so.
