Membership authorize.net payments

I found a few other posts about the authorize.net form requiring more information than just what is asked for on the form. It seems to want a city and state, as well as email and phone possibly. This is keeping the form from submitting the payments correctly and is returning an error message: “Payment method not supported for the payment”. Any support on how to fix this, or if I could get the corrected files for this it would be appreciated.

    I just did a quick test and can’t replicate the error, I’m having no issues.

    Can you see if the currency you have selected on the Extra Options tab. From the Authorize.net support center:

    Authorize.Net only supports transactions in U.S. dollars (USD) for U.S. based merchants. For information on accepting global payment types, please see the CyberSource website at: http://www.cybersource.com.

    Yes, I have U.S. Dollars (USD) selected. I have seen previous posts of others having this same problem and they seemed to find it was the form causing the problems. I would really appreciate somebody checking this out.

    I did check this out. I tried it myself on a test install.

    If I cannot replicate all I can do is offer suggestions on what may be wrong.

    I’ve asked the help of a gateway pro, as it doesn’t seem to make much sense that we would include a gateway that doesn’t work with our plugin.

    If it is not working then we should probably look into why and creating a fix for everyone, not just altering files every time someone uses the authorize.net gateway.

    I will keep you apprised of any information I receive from the gateway developer.

    Hey there, I would be happy to help out here.

    This error is occurring because the payment is being declined from authorize.net.

    I’m sure you have checked these but I just need to double check before moving forward. Have you made sure you are in the correct mode (sandbox or live) and have inserted the correct API user and key?

    Still trying to test it. I’m having all kinds of problems now including the form not showing up, so i’m switching themes and rebuilding the site from scratch. I hope this will help take care of some of the problems. I will let you know if I have any further problems.
