What is the difference between PayPal PayFlow Pro and PayPal Express Checkout?

I have a PayPal Professional account. PayPal said to use PayFlow, but Express Checkout seems to be integrating better.

    Paypal Express is free.

    Paypal Flow not so much:

    You need a merchant account which is where the cost can come from. Or there is a charge if you use the Pro version.
