I have lost all my facebook links on my site

I have had a problem with my ultimate fb for some time and i desided to get back to fixing the problem. But now i don’t even see any links to face anywhere on my site. And i know that i did not change anything.

Sorry to hear you’re having some trouble with the Facebook plugin. I know it can be frustrating and I can tell you that it’s frustrating for us, too, because we are limited with what we can do with the API and it seems like things are always changing on their side! But let’s get back to your situation. By links, do you mean the Like buttons in Posts or Pages, or do you mean Widgets in a sidebar?

The problem has not been resolved I’m finding its allot bigger of a problem My Fb app is not reading the API and i’m currently waiting for a response on another thread. Its going on like three months now.

I see this thread is about 3 weeks but I think you had other threads as well right?

So lets just detail the issues here for me to understand:

What’s happening and what isn’t happening?

Any errors and is so what?

Any other Facebook plugins?

Any Facebook features in your theme?

We can discuss this a little so I fully understand what’s going on and if we can’t solve this in the fourms I could take a closer look but I will need access to your Facebook APP, Site, DB, etc depending on what I learn here.

Looking at the other thread Joe has just responded and since then pinged the developer for you.

Rather than duplicate efforts lets see what Ve has to say and then go from there. He’s the developer on this plugin and knows it much more intimately.

Thanks for looking at it. While im talking to can you think of any reason that Easy blogger s running so slow. of all the plugins i have on the site why is that one running the way is?

So is it slow on just one site?

Or all sites?

Might help to increase your PHP memory:

You could edit your php.ini file or add your own (depending on setup):

memory_limit = 256M

httaccess:

php_value memory_limit 256M

If your PHP supports then you can edit your wp-config.php file and add the following line:
```
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '96MB');
```
You would change the memory in those to whatever it is you require.

If you are not sure how or have further issues then it would be best to ask your host to help you out with this one.

The more PHP code running the more memory needed so would be worth giving that a short, maybe double it to test with first.

Did you try increasing the memory to see if it affected your site speed?

According to host gator they said they can’t add to the memory of the site i am going over the list again to help with the speed of the site.

So does this happen whilst only in easy blogging mode?

Or all the time?

And if the plugin is disabled it speeds back up?

It only happens in when easy blogger is activated what i am going to do now is look at the images that i have uploaded in that plugin i believe that they are too large. so i will go through and re size them and see what happens.

If you load multiple full size large images on each page load then this would slow things down.
