Changing status from Pending to Confirmed changes date to 1970

Im having trouble when i change an appointment status from pending to confirmed. Everytime i do this the date gets automatically changed to 1 January 1970.

After some trial i discovered that the problem occours only when im using the full date in portuguese on my wordpress install, which is set as follows:

j de F de Y

That’s the portuguese version for presenting the full date.

I tried in different websites and the error occured everytime i set the wordpress date to the portuguese version of it so its easy to replicate my issue.

Any hopes for a solution in future releases?

Thanks.

    Hi,

In the next version I will add a selection for not to use local language on admin side since in some rare cases this is causing issues. In that case you can only use datepick in English.

As a workaround, you can delete appointments/js/jquery.datepick-pt-BR.js file. Then A+ will not try to localize admin side.

Im from Portugal so i wasnt using the pt-BR js file — the datepick was already in English since the WPLANG defined in wp-config.php for my wp install is set as pt-PT.

I tried to rename the js file to pt-PT with no luck either, the appointment date gets reset to 1970 every time i change an appointment status into confirmed state.

Another information i can give you is that although i’ve made a full translation of the plugin for pt-PT, i also tried a fresh install on another website without using the translation files and as soon as i set the wordpress date to the fully portuguese version, the “1970 behaviour” happens.

    Thanks for your fast replay.

Can you send your translation .mo file to hakan at incsub.com email?

Also can you please try this: Login admin using Google Chrome or Firefox. Press Ctrl+Shift+J. Do you see any errors there? Also check if you see any errors as you try to change the status.

    Cheers,

    Hi,

This will be permanently fixed in the next version.

As a workaround for now, when you are making any changes on an appointment record, also click on the Start field and click on the appropriate date of the Datepicker so that start date changes to a standard date format. Then Save.
