WHMCS Provisioning sites not working

I think I am missing something very obvious but I just cannot get it. I have WHMCS Provisioning setup according to the instructions.

I can go through the client portal of whmcs and order a wordpress website and it does show a new site under my multi site listing in wordpress. So say I select test.mydomain.com, it creates a listing in wordpress with a new site called test.

From here is where I get a little confused. I am not able to go to test.mydomain.com. I also tried using test.ipaddress.com and still nothing. I assume I am doing something wrong with dns or something with domains.

Also, am I able to create a cpanel account using this setup?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Hiya,

Greetings and thanks for posting on the forums.

I am not able to go to test.mydomain.com. I also tried using test.ipaddress.com and still nothing. I assume I am doing something wrong with dns or something with domains.

Can you please try disabling all the plugins and then try to create a subsite normally and see if you are able to access that ? That will tell us if DNS is configured properly or not.

Also, am I able to create a cpanel account using this setup?

It simply provisions a site within WordPress Multisite. Just like signing up direct through WordPress.

The purpose of the plugin is to allow WHMCS owners to sell sites in WP. But anyone running a hosting business can benefit from WHMCS not just for setting things up but for on going billing, accounting, support, etc.

    Cheers, PC

I disabled all plugins and created a site. I have the same issue doing it that way. So does that mean it is a DNS issue? Thanks for the help, I should be able to dig around and find some previous help in the community.

I think I got dns wildcard setup now since at least I can get to a webpage that gives a 404 error. Now to figure that out. Any ideas?

Edit: I think something got messed up when I converted this site to multi site. Since this isn’t a production site yet I am going to wipe it out and do a fresh multi site install. I will update with results when I am done.

Complete fresh install and I have the same issue. 404 not found

Edit: Seeing how this is a wordpress issue and my setup and not a plugin issue I will move over to wordpress help. I will post back here with my resolution in case anyone else comes across this.
