I need help with Global Site Search

I need help with Global Site Search plugin, I cant search my page with Global Site Search only post that i can search.

    Hi there @kdigital

    I hope you are well today.

    Global site search is only designed to work with Post Indexer and allows you to globally search your indexed posts and not pages I’m afraid.

    Are you still having any problems with the post indexer plugin?

    Hi jack, thanks for the reply. Ok understood. The post indexer is working fine but we need to find a solution for indexing pages, do you have any suggestions for that?

    Also, another matter, we want to set up a search for classifieds listings only. Do you have any suggestion to help us search classifieds listings?

    Hi there @kdigital

    I hope you are well today.

    I’m not aware of a way to index pages globally via a plugin or similar, but for searching everything including custom post types, This plugin is most likely the best for that particular situation http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/relevanssi/ I’m not sure as I’ve only ever used the free one, but from reading about it, the premium one may also be able to index across a multisite network and search everything? But I’m not 100% on that.

    We haven’t heard back on this issue in a while, marking this as resolved, but if this isn’t issue isn’t resolved please check the mark as not resolved, re-open box below :slight_smile:

    @erink it should only index posts with the post indexer plugin, post indexer shouldn’t touch pages, that’s all it’s designed to do :slight_smile:
