Spam control plugin as we know I have already faced

Spam control plugin as we know I have already faced and I am facing suspicious plugins that are used in dating software.

I don’t understand why I would have to go outside this group to find a plugin that is for spam and the plugin is using code 64 base() eval khwdfuihkuhviluhuirycvuyh scripts.

Wordfence is picking this up as a virus of Malicious files three of these files have 64base code eval what eval eval is

used for should not the API be enough to register a plugin.

I am confused about this plugin. When I asked how many sites can I use this on I did not get an answer.

Seems very strange to say the least.

Will this spam control work with just buddypress or do I need multisite for this also.

    Hi @vincent,

    What spam control plugin are you using? There are lots available.

    eval() allows code execution, and depending on the context of how it’s used in the plugin will depend on how secure it is. But just because a plugin uses eval, does not necessarily mean it’s a virus.

    Where did you get the plugin from?

    I have no idea whether it will work with buddypress because I don’t know what plugin you are talking about.

    Buddypress will work on multisite or single site.
