eNewsletter HTML editor button missing

I'm trying to edit html in my newsletters, but the content editor is not showing the button to access html – it only allows me WYSIWYG editing, which is not sufficient. The screenshots in your info page show an HTML button at top right, but it's not there in my installation of eNewsletter. What am I missing?

thanks

Hi – I can’t do this on my live client site, but I am running a copy on MAMP on my local machine. I’ve deactivated all plugins and changed to a default blank theme and it makes no difference – the HTML button is still missing.

    Hello there Ian,

Thanks for standing by and sorry for the delay here. I have checked and tested on my lab site and it does not have a html email editor out of the box.

The best way I could get html to work was create a new post, enter the html in the text editor and then switch to visual editor, copy everything and paste that in the enewsletter body.

However that does not seem too ideal to me. I have sent a note to our lead developer for his feedback on the same and he will be around soon.

    Cheers, PC
