I know sites like that maintain their own servers. I there’re companies that would offer a service like that, I’d like to know what my options are. My knowledge on the subject is extremely poor, I’ve heard some thing about “cloud hosting”, hosting plans that adapt to your needs (increasing the capacity and RAM as the site gets bigger), but I really don’t know what would be the best option for me. I’m building an “eBay/Amazon kind of site” and I’d like to be prepared to any number of users I might have.
