Appointments+ Error refreshing the OAuth2 token, message: '{ "error" : "invalid

Hi,

Last night Tyler was helping me and he let me know that A+ is not currently working with Google Apps for Business. So I deleted all that and started over with a gmail account. I was careful to change the private key in my files and all other info.

However, now I’m getting this error:

[June 27, 2014 3:50 pm] Error refreshing the OAuth2 token, message: ‘{

“error” : “invalid_grant”

}’

[June 27, 2014 3:50 pm] Error calling POST https://www.googleapis.com/calendar/v3/calendars/881vv5g4fjuhemptkjdfq5nje0@group.calendar.google.com/events: (401) Invalid Credentials

I also tried disabling and reactivating the plugin.

    Hey Regina,

Thanks for posting back here and glad to hear you went ahead with a gmail account. Now let’s get this working for you

I just went through the integration process on my own installation to double check the process and mine came out successful. Do you mind granting support access to your WordPress so I can take a look at your settings?

Then I can get a better idea of what could be causing the issue here.

Really appreciate your patience on this one, thanks Regina.

    Look forward to hearing back!

    Cheers,

    Tyler

    Hey Regina,

So, I took a closer look at your setup and I am wondering if maybe it is a conflict with your security plugin. Can you try deactivating that and then testing the connection again?

Also, I am attaching a couple screenshots from my Google Calender settings – make sure that your permissions for the developer.gserviceaccount.com email is set to "Make changes to events".

I believe we already went over this before, but double check the time zone setting as well

Let me know if any of that helps resolve the issue! If not, we'll continue to troubleshoot until we do.

    All the best,

    Tyler

    Hi Tyler,

Security is deactivated, however I only installed the security plugin today… after the calendar problem.

I have double checked the time(chicago and central) and also that my permissions are set to “make changes to events”.

“Appointments” was one of the first plugins I installed, right after buddypress and bbpress.

    Hey Regina,

Thanks for sending in the login information. I took a closer look and it turned out that the private key wasn't in your /appointments/includes/gcal/key folder. So I generated a new key for your service account, transferred it to the correct file, and lastly updated the key in your Appointments+ settings and… it's good to go! I attached a screenshot to share the moment

Test it out yourself just to be sure and let us know if you need any further assistance!

    All the best,

    Tyler

Very odd! Maybe it just didn’t actually copy over somehow. Glitches happen. Either way, glad it’s resolved! Let us know if you ever need further assistance Regina.

    Cheers,

    Tyler

PS. going to mark this as resolved. If something happens and the problem returns then you can re-open it.
