widgets not showing in membership plugin

Membership widgets are no longer showing in membership plug.

I have two membership levels and one is a labelled as temporary membership when either an annual membership has expired or someone has signed up but not completed the purchase of the annual membership.

I’m testing the widgets set to display on temporary membership with a member definately on this subscription but still no widgets.

    its a widget titled "please purchase a membership". it shows when logged in as an admin. It is suppose to show ONLY to members on the temporary member. You can login using "testman7 | escort" and you will see that the widget does not show. Looking in admin > members, you will see user testman7 is on the temporary membership.

    Hope you're doing well today and thanks for the explanation and illustrations :slight_smile:

    I checked out your install and this is likely happening because you have the stranger access level set to FREE ACCESS and the temporary membership set to free access.

    This is causing a conflict. You will need to make a duplicate access level of the free access one and then make that the access level for the temporary subscription.

    Right now it is assuming anyone with the free access level is a visitor.

    Ive done as you have explained, created a new “Visitor access” level for strangers. However, this has had no effect on the display of the widgets – my sidebar two has a widget to display to members with the temporary membership.

    I didnt think your suggestion would work as these settings have been working for like this for some time.

    support access granted, but would you also mind chasing up on my other supprot request please, that one is more important for me and i still havent had any feedback that it is even being investigated.

    I stopped in your other thread!

    As for this one, I see the issue clearly on your site. I used the drop down while logged in to view the site from each access level, and your widget does in fact show for all of them.

    Let’s quickly rule out a theme conflict, if you haven’t already, by temporarily switching to a default WordPress theme and see if the issue resolves itself.

    If not, we’ll definitely keep looking!
