Adding Instagram to the Social Media Space

Hi,

How can you aid me add Instagram Social Media icon and link to be part of the social media links below the menu links? Screenshot links;

I used flowaway theme and I’ve created child theme and here is the option panel screenshot link:

    Hey @Barni! :slight_smile:

    In order to implement that, you’re looking at customizing the theme code itself, and inserting your Instagram icon there manually. It’d be that, or you might be able to insert the Instagram address into a different social media field, and replace the icon that’s used for that field there with your own (possibly with some CSS code, would need to have the icon in question handy, and have a link to the site, in order to know for sure).

    Hey @Michael Bissett, thank you very much for this insight. To make it speedy, I would to swap the social in the ones already created like changing Pinterest social icon to Instagram. How can you aid me achieve that? I can see two Pinterest social links in the RB admin panel as shown in this screenshot: http://awesomescreenshot.com/0b54qgnvf5 hence, how can I CONVERT one of them to Instagram?

    Hey @Barni! :slight_smile:

    Having a look at the site in question (projectsmileng.com), via the Support Access you granted to it (thanks for that, by the way), it looks like that 2nd Pinterest field was actually the Instagram field you were looking for before (both from looking at the code inside the WordPress Dashboard, but also from the fact that you now have the Instragram icon showing on the front page).

    So we didn’t actually have to change anything in the end, though I’m curious as to why that field would be named like that.
