Verification of my website in an Zanox Marketplace

Hi,

I would like to participate in Zanox Marketplace and they said I have to verify my site.

They gave me 2 options:

a) Verify with HTML Metatags.

Including this in my site:

<meta name=”verification” content=”0148f430700aa4ddc83e5b08fa13563b” />

But I do not know where I have to place it

or

2) Download the HTML File that they gave me and I have to upload it into my web

HTML: [0148f430700aa4ddc83e5b08fa13563b.html]

website: http://www.competenciasparaelsigloxxi.com/

I try to download the file and then upload vía Plugin, but an error occurs. Could you please let me know how can I upload the HTML file to verify my site?

Thanks in advance,

Virginia

    Hey @Virginia,

    Hope you're doing well today :slight_smile:

    For both of these ways you will require FTP or cPanel access to accomplish.

    a) Verify with HTML Metatags.

    Including this in my site:

    <meta name="verification" content="0148f430700aa4ddc83e5b08fa13563b" />

    But I do not know where I have to place it

    What you need to do is go to wp-content/themes/YOUR_THEME/ folder on your server and in there you should be able to see header.php file.

    Download that file and open it in text editor like SublimeText, Notepad++, NetBeans… and in there you should see other meta tags that are placed before closing head tag </head>

    There you will need to place code from above.

    See screenshot attached below for example.

    2) Download the HTML File that they gave me and I have to upload it into my web

    HTML: [0148f430700aa4ddc83e5b08fa13563b.html]

    website: http://www.competenciasparaelsigloxxi.com/

    HTML file they gave you is not a plugin and can't be uploaded that way, you will need FTP access as mentioned above.

    When you connect to your server you should be able to see either a /public_hmtl/ or /www/ folder, upload html file to that folder and that should be it.

    I'm not 100% sure about this second part so you might want to contact Zanox for more help.

    Or just go with option one, that one should work without any issue :slight_smile:

    Best regards,

    Predrag
