domain mapping is forcing https on subsites

Hi,

Like the title says ” domain mappng is forcing https on subsite”. what’s happening is that when you login to the mapped domain, and for instance you try to add a new page/post etc.. when click on the Add New button, users being redirected to the https of the site.

When i deactivated domain mapping it works, which means that the problem is happening because of the domain mapping plugin.

I also want you to know that i’ve already clear all cache and turn off all caching mechanism.

Thanks in advanced for you reply and help through fixing this issue.

NB. Support is already granted.

    Hey Thomas,

Hope you're having a good weekend so far.

I was able to replicate this issue on my install as well. It appears that the "Would you like to force https in login and admin pages" option inside the network admin Domain Mapping settings is applying to the mapped domain as well when it should not be.

I'm flagging the developer so we can get this all sorted out

In the meantime, if possible you can turn off that option as seen in my screenshot. It looks like your certificate isn't a wildcard cert either so you will get certificate errors on your subsites original domain too.

Either myself or the developer will reply back here once the https issue on mapped domains is fixed. If you have any further questions in the meantime just let us know.

    Cheers,

    Tyler
