Two admins are seeing "This website has a redirect loop"

Hi,

We are three admins on the site, and the two others beside me (Kasper Snæver Andersen) are experiencing some weird problems. When they are clicking on the buy link to two of the memberships (this is one of them http://odds24.dk/registrering/?membership_id=593), they are getting the message from the browser that says the website has a redirect loop. When I try and when they try from other accounts everything works perfect, but with these two admin accounts it’s different.

Update: We have made a new account for one of the admins (Jesper) and the problem with the redirect loop is fixed for him. But we still need the last admin.

We also have another fatal problem. The pricing are different, when I select the membership called “1. Halvsæson” it’s saying that the price is DKK 1599 on the page with a Pay button (and Stripe is also showing this price), but the price we have set in admin is 1349 (which should be showing instead of 1599).

Hello @Kasper, Trust you are well!

Are you using any redirect plugin?

It may happen when you setup the access levels incorrectly and protect the protected content page from access. Can you check this please?

Would you please temporary deactivate all other plugins and test again? If the issue is gone, please activate one plugin at the time to find out which may cause this issue.

I just visited your site and the price is the same as in membership settings. Would you please, clear your browser from cookies and history, This most likely will fix this issue.

    Please advise,

    Kind Regards,

    Hi,

I have cleared all of my browsing data, visited the website from several computers and smartphones and I’m still having troubles with the pricing, but it has changed.

    The membership called:

    1. Halvsæson should cost DKK 1349 – it costs 1599

Månedspakken should cost DKK 499 – it costs 1599 (on another user it costs DKK 299)

Ugepakken should cost DKK 149 – it also costs 1599 (on another user it costs DKK 50)

Why is the pricing so different? I have tried to deactivate all plugins and there was no difference. My customer is a bit upset and there is nothing I can do. :slight_frown:

    Hi,

I tried to delete all memberships and create them again. It’s working perfectly on non-admins which is fantastic, but it’s still bugging when we are logged in as administrator. This is no longer the biggest problem, but it’s a bit annoying that we have to log in to another account to test if it works.

    Hi @Kasper Snæver Andersen

Hope you are doing good today

I am glad to know that its working for you perfectly beside that glitch. I have tried to recreate that issue on my own site but could not recreate it. Its working fine for me. I have three admin users that are able to access all membership signup pages without loop.

Can you please provide more details about the issue ? What version of WordPress you are on ? Is it WordPress multisite or single site ? Have you tried to running plugin/theme conflict test as mentioned by @Anastasia in above response ?

Take care and have a nice day

    Cheers, Sajid

    Hi Kasper

I hope you are having a wonderful day.

Actually I understood the problem you are facing related with price. It’s obvious that two of your admin accounts are behaving weird.

By in any way, could it be the reason that your users have to pay any fixed tax or something but your admin users don’t? I know this is a very wild guess but it’s pretty tough to find the solution without knowing the exact situation.

Would you mind allowing support access so we can have a closer look at this?

To enable support access you can follow this guide here:

    Have a nice day. Cheers!

    Hi Kasper,

I was able to replicate this issue on my website – looks like that for the admin user first paid membership price is used to show when the all memberships are shown (names are OK, but there is one price).

This looks like a bug, so I’m flagging plugin developer – however this could be because as admin you already have access to all memberships and you can’t really join any.

    Kind regards,

    Kasia
