Selecting a different image for each Post for Facebook

Who can help me understand how I could force Facebook to use a specific image (which is not the featured image) for a WordPress post. I want to be able to select a specific (different) image for each post I write. Anyone got a solution?

Thanks

    Hi @thinkDelaney,

I hope had been good today!

Just to understand better your question, you want to choose another image to Facebook to use in “auto posting” (i.e. when you insert a post in your website, automatically sends to Facebook) or when you share a link in Facebook?

    Cheers, Luís

Hi… I am looking for a way to “choose” the image I associate with a Blog Post for Facebook (or any other Social Media if possible). I don’t want it to just default to the featured image I am using within the site. I may want to use a more square or vertical aspect ratio for an image used with a post on Facebook. I am not too adept at this part of things. My Social Media manager posts Facebook posts for clients and links a post from the client’s blog. It’s not typically auto posted.

    Does this answer the question?

    Thanks

Ok. I verified what I thought. As far as i can tell here… this plugin does not allow me to select a specific image for Facebook (OpenGraph) for each Post as a create the post. Is there a way to add OpenGraph specific image choice on each new Post I create?

    Thanks

    Ben

Ok.. found the answer – It's Yoast SEO plugin. This allows you to choose the image for each post / page. Attached are a couple of images to prove it.

    Thanks
