restoring 1 site on a multi-site install via snapshot

I’ve used snapshot to back up a site on a different server & now want to import that site onto my multi-site network. I have the snapshot as a zip file in dropbox but unsure what to do next – I want to use the snapshot on an individual site on the multi-site network, not the entire site.

    Hey @blacktype,

    Hope you're doing well today :slight_smile:

    First thing you want to do is go to Snapshot > Import and in there add the path of the folder that includes your snapshot backup zip file, if you upload the file to your wp-content/uploads/snapshots/ folder there is no need to enter anything, just click import.

    This will just import the snapshot file it will not restore it.

    Now go to Snapshot > All Snapshots and find your imported file, hover on it and you will see restore link, click on that and repeat the step on second screen.

    Now you will get to the part where you need to select your sub-site to restore to by clicking on Change button next to Site URL, see screenshot attached below.

    Note: If your restore button is greyed out click on the radio button next to snapshot, as shown on screenshot.
