changing http://MySite.com/wp-login.php

Hello,

I recently learned about the following plugin about changing the wordpress login url: https://wordpress.org/plugins/sf-move-login/

Can this be used with a wordpress multi-site/prosite?

Also, if no, how can I change the URL? Also, how can I get the automatic wordpress email that is sent out to have a different login URL than “wp-login.php”?

Link that explains move login plugin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_c4l6Vnr9aQ

Thank you!

    Hi @Pippa,

Hope you are doing good today

According to its description it says it is compatible with WordPress Multisite. Also, I don’t think there will be any compatibility issues with ProSites. Pro Sites does not change login page.

Hope that helps! Feel free to post a reply if you need further assistance

    Cheers, Sajid

Hello @grace, I trust you are well!

I’m quoting here the information I found in the plugin’s changelog:

For multisite, the log in address in the “new site” welcome email is now filtered. Unfortunately there are some other places where the log in address can’t be changed, regarding the user/site registration messages..

I’m not sure what they mean under the “new site”. And there is no other information regarding automatic welcome email. I guess it changes the URL login address in welcome email, automatically. The better way to check this, please create a test user on your WordPress installation, and check for welcome emails in the inbox.

    I hope this helps!

    Cheers,
