So, I installed Autoptimizer and refeshed the page to found that the slider does not work properly. Blank or /and dark black slides have been added in between real slides. Even after loading upfront, it does not allow to delete the slides.

Also it is requested to guide me as to how could I increase the page speed of my webpages.

Backend access has been activated to enable you to do the needful please.

    Hey @bookscaterer,

Hope you’re doing well today

I checked your site and didn’t see any black/blank slides in your slider, could you try clearing your browser cache now when Autoptimizer is disabled and see if it works for you after that?

The issue with images not being removed from slider is actually a bug in theme that’s reported to our developers and they are currently working on a fix for this.

We have WP Hummingbird plugin that helps you to speed up your site and minifier comes with an option to exclude certain files from minifying, so if any of the files are causing you issues while minified simply exclude them.

    Best regards,

    Predrag

    Dear Preg,

I checked and found everything correct as you said, after deleting cache from browser.

I hope the early fix of the bug that does not allow to edit slider.

I was not aware of wp hummingbird plugin that you guys have developed. I think it’s new one.

I have installed this one. Now, please let me know should I continue with wp-super cache or uninstall now.

Well, thank you very much for your kind support.

    Hello Pooja!

I’m really glad you found out about our Hummingbird plugin and I’m sure it will make your site just better (faster and lighter). The caching feature built into it though is triggering browser cache but not caching server-side so yes, you can continue using WP Supercache along. Please make sure though that you’re not using the same tools (such as e.g. minification) enabled in both plugins (in case they overlap). The cache itself is an exception here

    I hope that helps!

    Best regards,

    Adam

Would appreciate if any development is indicated on the above issue.

    Hello Pooja,

Currently our developer have started their work on this. Seems like it will be fixed soon but we will not be able to give you some ETA on this as it may be possible that fix gets delayed for some more time due to other criticality of issues.

I really appreciate your cooperation and urge you to be patient for some more time.

Meantime if you need help with something else please let us know.

    Cheers,

    Milan
