pro sites not automatically putting paid customers into levels

I just ran my live tests of my new Pro Sites website and everything went well, except that new sites were not automatically put into their paid levels. Site is showing Free N/A on admin bar.

Do I have to manually put clients into their levels, or am I not configured correctly?

    Hi @Craig,

    Hope you are doing good today :slight_smile:

    It depends on your configuration. If you are using manual payments option then you have to put them into their corresponding level manually.

    But if you are using other payment methods like PayPal/Stripe then it will be automatic. You have to make sure you have configured IPN for PayPal and webhooks for stripe correctly for communication between gateway and plugin.

    It can take a while to receive notification from Gateway so be patient.

    I am using Paypal, and I have put all the credentials in for API.

    This is a new Paypal account, am I forgetting a step?

    “You have to make sure you have configured IPN for PayPal”, Is this what I am missing?

    The only reason I was under the belief it was not Paypal, was because the payment processed and created a subscription properly on the test.
