Clone site in a multisite environment

I need to copy my entire site(currently in english) to a subdomain(not created yet, but will be for spanish).. how do I go about doing this? Being its multisite, is there anything I should know about before attempting this?

    Hello ME Admin,

    You can use our Cloner plugin for this task https://wpmudev.com/project/cloner/ – it will allow you to copy whole main site to subsite with few clicks. You can even clone it to subsite you did not created yet, it will create it for you – or you can create one and then clone your main site to it.

    In settings you can choose also what type of data you want to copy – for example if you need only content you can exclude users from settings so they will be only on main site and not your subsite.

    does that work subsite to subsite?

    Yes, it does.

    im using the membership 2 plugin.. will all the settings I have set be copied as well or will I need to redo on cloned site?

    Is Membership 2 Pro network activated or per blog? If network activated, then no, in this case Membership works to protect whole network and settings will stay intact on the main site.

    If its per blog – and you choose to clone everything in the Cloner settings then it will be also copied.
