Backup for Multisite Setup – how to backup all db tables?

Hi,

I’d like to use Snapshot Pro for a WordPress Multisite setup.

I’ve noticed, that the a regular snapshot only backups the database tables of the root site.

How can I backup the entire database for all sites?

Thanks for your help!

    Hi Florian,

Hope you are doing good today

You can backup all tables on per site basis. That said only the tables of that site can be backup. If you want to backup tables of entire network then I am afraid its not possible at the moment.

It is recommended to schedule the backup of each subsite individually and on different times because creating a backup is very resource intensive process. Your host will kill the process before its being complete and you will lost all the data.

That is why we have given the option to create the snapshots of each subsite from network section. So you don’t need to go to each site to create a snapshot.

Hope that helps! Feel free to post a reply if you need further assistance

    Cheers, Sajid

    Hi Sajid,

    thanks for the swift reply.

What I didn't understand was, that I had to enter the blog id (1,2,3,4 ..) into the url field.
