I am using a responsive pro theme. I have pages on my website that need pay per view. I’ve downloaded ppv and set it up and everything seems to work fine EXCEPT that I can’t get the api codes from facebook, twitter, and google. So when I click on the green pay button it asks for an admin or wordpress login. Is there a way to do ppv without an api login – going directly to paypal? If not, can you help me with the api login codes that I can’t seem to get by following the links on the ppv dashboard.

    Hi Shirley

Hope you had a wonderful day.

I can’t get the api codes from facebook, twitter, and google

For getting Facebook APP ID, check this instructions: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/apps/register

To get Twitter Consumer Key & Consumer Secret, you have to create an app in Twitter via https://apps.twitter.com/app/new Then you’ll be taken to a page containing Consumer Key & Consumer Secret.

To get Google Client ID, you can check this article: https://auth0.com/docs/connections/social/google

Is there a way to do ppv without an api login – going directly to paypal?

Yes. Go to PPV settings and uncheck “Enables login to website using Facebook, Twitter and Google” option from PPV Settings page. This will disable social login features, and will take you directly to PayPal.

Please let us know if you have any confusion. We will be glad to help.

    Have a nice day. Cheers!

I have disabled the social login functions, leaving only the paypal fuction and have filled in all the information there. When we try to operate the ppv green bar, it comes up with a wordpress login needed. This happens whether in sandbox mode or live mode.

    Hello Shirley,

When we try to operate the ppv green bar, it comes up with a wordpress login needed.

If you are using any other payment option than "One time view" this is correct. If you take a look on Payment options registration is required for "Period Pass" and "Recurring subscription".

there is no way to remove registration for those two payment options as user has to be identified.

    kind regards,
