URGENT! Upfront POC?

Guys,

I’ve had nothing but issues with Upfront ever since signing up!

I finally launched a very simple site on Friday. Only to take a look today and find that all the images are now broken links! When I try to re-add the image and save, I get the message:

“Theme colours could not be saved” & “There was a problem whilst saving”

I’m obviously very disappointed with trialling Upfront. It just seems very unreliable. From you marketing it looks great and I had hoped to use it for a much larger commercial projects up-coming :slight_frown:

Hello Sam,

It looks like you removed sandbox site with all the images there and on the live site didn’t update links urls, because they still pointing to the sandbox site.

I checked your site and while saving there is 500 internal server error on admin-ajax.php – best would be to contact hosting providers and ask about server error logs and what is causing those 500 errors.

In the meantimes you can try other things

a) run a quick plugin/theme conflict test as illustrated in getting support manual (flowchart).

c) add this following code to your .htacess file:

I’ve increased the PHP memory which seems to have sorted the saving issue.

Can you please advise on the best way to migrate Upfront across hosts so as not to break all the links/enable an easier re-build?

The ideal option would be manual, but I do get that it can be difficult for people to follow. The easiest option would be to make use of a plugin like Duplicator, which does save a bunch of time, and helps you migrate your single WordPress installation with ease.
